Privacy notice

K Steps is run by Kai, a sole trader based in Bristol. This explains what happens to the details you send me.

What I collect

When you fill in the quote form: your name, email, phone number (if given), business name, what you need, budget and your message.

Why

To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote. If we work together, to run the project and keep records I'm legally required to keep. The legal basis is taking steps before a contract at your request, then the contract itself.

Who else handles it

Your details are stored with Supabase (database, UK/EU servers) and the notification email is sent through Resend. They only process it on my behalf. I never sell your details or use them for marketing.

How long I keep it

If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do, I keep project records for six years after the work ends, for tax reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time. Email hello@ksteps.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
